To provide a forum for advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgeons to share best practices, discuss innovative procedures and controversies, and foster collaboration and education, for the purpose of improving patient care and providing a regional presence in Southern California
Goals
- Create, plan and execute a Resident MIGS Bootcamp in September 2020.
- Provide case review
- Promote multicenter research
- Promote patient awareness of minimally invasive gynecologic options in Los Angeles
- Support Southern California AAGL MIGS fellowships
- Provide multiple centers for fellow experience
- Hold an Annual meeting
- Create a regional presence
- Be a voice in surgical education
- 5-10 year vision of hosting a surgical conference in Los Angeles
